Conference Overview

The Australian Computer Emergency Response Team is pleased to host its 10th annual AusCERT Information Security Conference (AusCERT2011) from Sunday, 15th May 2011 to Friday, 20 May 2011 at the RACV Royal Pines Resort on Queensland's Gold Coast.

 

The theme for AusCERT2011 is overexposed which is a reflection of the increasing exposure to information security risks that people, business and society face. The conference will explore facets of these risks and bring together experts from Australia and around the world to provide insight and solutions to deal with these challenges.

AusCERT is partnering with SC Magazine who is hosting a Round Table discussion.

 

The event will be gathering a spread-spectrum of infosec professionals including users, defenders, practitioners, police and possibly grey-hat hackers to discuss Australia’s cyber readiness and what organisations and individuals can do to defend and recover from attack.
