Session Description
Protecting our industrial facilities from cyber security risks requires very different types of solutions and approaches as compared to protecting our IT data centers. Two emerging industry-specific security practices promise to help and will be explored in this session.
The value of managed security services will be discussed by an owner operator who has been using services developed specifically for ICS environments. Similarly, the role and value of security testing and certification will be discussed in a second presentation by a Johan Nye of ExxonMobil.
These two presentations will be followed by a panel, consisting of the speakers and other industry security experts, including the well known Eric Byres.
The ARC World Industry Forum event focuses on cyber security for control systems and current infrastructure.
